Responsible Data for Children (RD4C) is a framework for assessing risks and opportunities for advancing children’s rights across the data lifecycle that is grounded in a set of principles for responsible data handling. It is born out of the RD4C initiative, a collaboration between The Governance Lab at New York University and UNICEF.
In this session, we will help session participants understand what an RD4C approach to data entails and help them understand ways they can incorporate it into their daily work through a simulated example, real-world use case, and collaborative discussion.
The ideal participant should have some interest in the use and reuse of data, but no other specialized knowledge is required.
