Considering the increasing use of techniques from AI branches (machine learning, neuronal networks, natural language processing, etc), for collecting, processing, analyzing, validating and/or visualizing data, this session aims to:

  • share knowledge with specific examples on how to use AI in measuring processes,
  • identify potential collaborations, based of future trends on the AI field.

This session is for any professional interested in working with AI within statistical processes. In addition to hearing specific examples on how to use AI in official statistics from data producers, other government bodies like AGESIC will expose their work for creating frameworks to facilitate the use of AI, while the private sector will describe developed solutions based on AI highlighting most recent research and innovations in the field.

We will have as speakers representatives from the UN Statistics Division, NSO´s in Colombia and Mexico, GIZ-South Africa, LRDI-Kenya, Microsoft, Oblivious, AGESIC-Uruguay and SBB-Suriname.
