Christian Aid (CA) stands together for dignity, equality and justice. For over 70 years, they have been working with local partners and communities to fight injustice, respond to humanitarian emergencies, campaign for change, and help people claim the services and rights they are entitled to.
CA is committed to reaching those most in need by addressing the root causes of poverty, speaking truth to power, and building local and collective agency.
Priorities as an Inclusive Data Charter Champion
- Add CA’s voice to calls for the use of more inclusive data to steer the delivery of the SDGs and the human rights frameworks that underpin them. This includes championing the five principles of the IDC.
- Join a global community of practice to learn from others and to share CA’s learnings to drive inclusive data forward to empower citizenship.
- Share CA’s progress on their IDC commitments to improve the quality of their program data and the documentation of learning and perspectives emerging from programs and partners.
- Ensure that CA’s advocacy is well informed and evidenced by data disaggregation to make inequalities visible in the contexts we are working in.
