The COVID-19 pandemic made already marginalized communities have to adapt to the pandemic exposing gaps and bias in policies and data systems. Structural inequalities exposed by the pandemic forced communities to respond without adequate support from the government. The Civil Society Collaborative on Inclusive COVID-19 Data published An Unequal Pandemic, a report focusing on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on people who have been marginalized and their responses.

To commemorate the publication of the report, the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data brought together experts and contributors from the Civil Society Collaborative on Inclusive COVID-19 Data to discuss the paper, how it was created, and insights from it.
