Youth Advocates Zimbabwe (YAZ) is a youth-led organization working to advance youth's rights and amplify youth's voices where it matters. Our mission is empowering adolescents and young people through knowledge and skills transfer.
YAZ continues building on extensive experience leading youth-driven projects within the development field, ideally pioneering innovative technology in youth-centered programs partnering with the local communities. Youth Advocates comprehensively addresses the complex behavioral, social, and structural drivers of risk tolerance among young people through combining technology and multimedia campaigns with systems strengthening, community-level outreach, and clinical and psycho-social services.
Priorities as a partner of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data
Youth Advocates Zimbabwe (YAZ) is committed to increasing the availability and use of development data to meet the urgent and complex needs of adolescents and young people on integrated health services uptake whilst responding to service delivery and quality issues in real-time, cutting on costs for beneficiaries in travel, non-existent and expensive services that usually deter uptake.
