Tecnnova is a non-profit entity constituted by 9 national universities to enable and stimulate science, technology, and innovation (STI) activities, thus facilitating the dissemination of knowledge and promoting social and economic development.

Its objective is to facilitate, encourage, promote, and realize opportunities in applied research, innovation, and technological development projects, generating social capital among companies, universities, and the State, in order to contribute to increasing competitiveness and improving conditions of life in Colombia, as well as to impact and support policy making, transform private and academic organizations, and connect demand and the supply based on STI.

Make available to society open data from universities with an emphasis on research and to contribute to the development of new products and services to solve city challenges and promote sustainable development.
